"The Dan Plowden Band" (Opening for such acts as Hank Jr., Charlie Daniels, David Allan Coe, Marshall Tucker, Little River Band, Kentucky Head Hunters, and The Atlanta Rhythm Section, as well as the college entertainment and festival touring scene)
"Makkafroi" out of Ann Arbor (In negotiations with Dave Matthews Management when band dissolved)
