Bass player trying to remember why we all got into this business! Have gigged out for 28 years, and finally burned out on all the headaches. Believe it or not, just looking to jam and have fun again instead of going through the hassles. Want to play music that we enjoy for a change, and never have to play Old Time Rock and Roll or Mony Mony ever again unless we're all feeling masochistic! I play bass and sing (lead and backup) and just want this to be fun again. But it seems that every time I talk to someone who says they just want to jam, it turns into "And if we can get a song list together, we could play out a couple weeks a month." Sorry, I'm not looking for this. Have Fibromyalgia, and given the unpredictability of body pain and migraines, I'm not going to commit to playing out somewhere when I may wake up that day unable to move. Not fair to the band, the club or the audience. This is STRICTLY for fun.
