Not interested in doing covers, but will to "pay the rent". Concentration is on the band's original music. I don't want to waste precious time learning "someone else's" songs. Originals are absolutely welcome. I need people who can play more than 4/4 12 bar stuff. Not interested in people who view music as a hobby. Music that MOVES you, that makes you THINK. It's all about the lyrics with me. I "can" listen to anything, though country makes me feel like picking my nose while crying tears that are 3% alcohol, and rap makes me want to start a fight... I grew up listening to the standard stuff Rush, Kiss, BOC, Tull, but also leaned heavily into the less commercial new wave stuff, Oingo Boingo, Devo, Kraftwerk etc. I've been listening to a lot of Seether, 10 Years, Shinedown, Foo Fighters, Offspring and Halestorm lately.
