The music is post rock. Although there has been many definitions of ”post rock”, I very much prefer the one that states it is a music genre that focuses on the music itself, not so much the format, length, lyrics and so on. To paint a better picture, it’s my opinion that Pink Floyd is one of the originators of post rock (though you won’t find many people to agree with that). There are really no restrictions on the music at all. What comes out is a very unique, beautiful, and emotional experience.
I’m looking for a vocalist/pianist. I would very much prefer a female because I think a feminine voice fits the music nicely, but I’m not shutting the door on dudes. The more instruments you play the better. Songs are all written along with lyrics - use em or write your own. Email me if you are interested and want to hear a song or two. EQUIPMENT
Lots of stuff. Nothing too high end. Yamaha, Epiphone,and Vox mostly. The writing process revolves around a Boss stand alone digital recorder, but as a true “band” evolves, so will my equipment, processes and mindset.
