Hello, I'm Louie, I'm the opposite of laid back, and/or Shy.!! Those who know me call me ( words most used ) Animated or Intense!! I'm cool w/ that!! I'm friendly, generous, honest, and wear my heart on my sleeve, speak my mind freely, politely and I am not easily offended or hurt by the actions of others!! I'm mainly looking for a female w/ a strong vocal range, preferably one who plays a guitar. I have an awesome drummer w/a set of drums Neil Pert would be proud of, and a bassist that plays very well. I am heavily into the Alternative style when playing live and writing original material. Low tuning and a Marshall Growl. Need a solid 2nd guitar player to get busy recording.. ( here we both play Lead, or Rhythm often within the same song) and HOPE you can step in as a STRONG Vocal for sentences/phrases here or there,I am not into control/ego freaks and here, each member will do their perspective parts with no influence from the other. We will hand you our track (or you'll hand us one you've written ) and you'll add your part which we will either accept, resubmit for changes, or reject. We will play together, look out for each other, and operate as an extended family forming into a group of solid musicians, there will be no competing but rather accenting each other. ( I hate a lead player who wants to fill every gap, no matter how small with a flurry of notes, and then plays rhythm in between that, and a good rhythm player should know when to play quieter, pick out notes of a chord rather than strumming, and let the lead SHINE during the solo by playing softer, or (here's a concept foreign to those who grew up thinking the one who plays scales fastest is the best) Stop playing altogether!!!! Not interested in fast playing scales and lead players who want to play rhythm using the SAME chord voicing.. Know some harmonies please!! The sky is the STARTING point, there is NO LIMIT!!!! EQUIPMENT
We all have what we need, there is very little I can not fix on a musical instrument, and I'm a FIRM believer every guitarist should learn to do their own intonation on their instrument as I may squeeze my notes harder/softer than you and then it's not REALLY in tune.. I have Martin acoustics (getting a Taylor soon ) Les Paul electrics (getting an Ibanez prestige soon) and I play through Marshall Tube Amplification w a very simple pedal board..Have a 150w line 6 head for experimenting at home ( intro n outro mainly) several different cabinets and use Vintage 30's as my go to speakers..
