I'm heavily influenced by Tool, Rage Against the Machine, Gojira, Pantera, and Meshuggah, as well as Minor Threat, Black Flag, Descendents, and Bad Religion. When I write music, it ends up as a blend of that groove based progressiveness like Tool, but with a punk/thrash speed. I keep a fast 4/4 drum beat in mind, while the riffs themselves are in odd time signatures, like a punk version of a Meshuggah (and not on an 8 string). In my earlier years I was primarily playing thrash and death metal along with a lot of punk rock so I have great chops and can play very fast and intricate riffs. Solos are mostly blues, influenced by Angus Young, Jimmy Page, Hendrix, and SRV. I'm looking for a band.
