ABOUT

I am a poet and experienced recording and stage vocalist. I am looking for a project with group of talented and experienced musicians that would like to write original music – and who are not opposed to playing covers for fun, and to fill space for live shows. I have been a lead vocalist for many SoCal and LA-based musical projects for many years. I also have voice in opera training and experience. I like to be on stage and I am dying to get out and perform in front of live audiences again. I like small venues but I have also performed in front of many larger audiences of 1000 - 2000 people or more - and I will not hesitate to do it again as soon as I have the chance. I am a smart ass but not a complete asshole (at least that seems to be the overall feedback). I am part of the band and they are part of me. Several years ago I moved back to California after living for six years in The Netherlands and traveling throughout Europe. I have multiple personalities and one of them has a wife and kids and is a scientist / Biotechnology engineer - That is the one that currently pays the bills. I look a lot younger than I am. I am not fat, particularly ugly, or funny looking. I am not a hopeless drunk or drug addict. I am mostly harmless to others yet still dangerous, and I am usually pretty reliable.
Previous projects include:
Reiter – Rock / Metal / Alternative, Opening band for Great White, and UFO, Y&T. Two Released albums that lead to two showcase events at the Key Club Hollywood and The Troubadour Hollywood for representatives from Sony, Virgin, Capitol, Warner, and Interscope Records. Recorded our first studio album at the world famous Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood.

I have too many influences from the 50s through today to be able to make a complete list. I like many types of music, many artists in many genres, and if it catches my ear it does not matter what it genre of music it is. But I will try to name a few…
