I love jazz, especially the swinging stuff, like swing and bebop, but I'm not limited to those styles - love me some Blue Monk, some How Insensitive. Mainly I am looking for people to play with, who enjoy the music too, in order to keep growing together. I can practice some evenings and weekends. Gigs are good too, to the same end. I've played just a few gig - six - here and there over the years. Mainly I play whenever I can, squeezing it into the parenting and working life (and having to be a morning person) and listening to it (live and recorded) as much as I can. I've also taken a bunch of lessons and classes with very good teachers. I just love the stuff.
