Our band, Rebels, seeks an experienced bass player with excellent music theory, pocket, vibe, and work ethic, to join our group. Our current bass player is great, but he is moving away in August. The instrumentation is vocals (x2), keys, guitar, drums, and bass. We have a very friendly vibe while taking the music (but not ourselves) seriously.

Influences
We are best described as a jam band. Our sound combines funk, rock, and blues with extended improvisation and jazz theory. Undercurrents of latin, prog, folk, and bluegrass. Most of our songs are simple, but some of them feature extended through-composed sections that include odd times signatures and key changes. Think Phish, Zappa, King Gizzard, Vulfpeck, Galactic, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Soul Coughing, The Dead, Talking Heads, Santana, ELP, DMB, etc . . .
