ABOUT

Howdy,

Me and a good friend are starting a Rock/Metal band. We're looking to bring on some passionate players who are looking to make good music and succeed in the business. Like said already, we're looking for people who are interested in making any music in the style of Rock/Metal.

To join we'd like you to be between the ages of 18 - 29. As for talent we're open to bringing in beginners with some already decent playing skills, and moderate players who are pretty talented already. We are specifically looking for the following to join: Guitarist (Preferably to be lead), Drummer, Keyboard/Pianist, and a Vocalist.

The goal of our band is to be larger than life and to creatively independent of any one type of genre. Some of the inspirations/style of music we'll be borrowing from will be: Hard Rock, Metal, New Wave/Post Punk, Shock Rock, Blues, and Early Punk.

As for the artists we're inspired by: Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Metallica, Queen, Slayer, The Doors, The Cure, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Joy Division, and W.A.S.P.

We're purposely not choosing a specific style of Rock or Metal we're aiming for but instead writing whatever music we think sounds great, and anything that makes someone want to head bang or speed down the highway blasting our tunes.
