Hey there. My name is Rob and I'm looking to get back out there playing live after a bit of a hiatus. I'm relatively new to the area having moved here from Boston about two years ago.

My background:
- Started playing guitar when I was 13
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in music education
- Taught guitar for a living between 2006 - 2014

In 2014, I changed careers into tech and guitar went back to being just a hobby where I still play for fun every day. But now I'm looking to get back out there and find some people to jam with.

I'm looking for something serious, rehearsing and/or gigging once every week or two. Down to play anything from rock, to metal, to pop. Would prefer sticking to the peninsula and south bay area.

Influences

My personal favorite genre to play is old school metal - Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, etc.

I also really love 90s - 2000s rock and alternative, classic/hard rock, pop punk, and I'm secretly a sucker for top 40 stuff.

The main genres I don't really vibe with are country, hip hop, and jazz.
