After starting out playing drums in my middle school jazz band, I was quickly bitten by the heavy metal bug. Playing my first gig at age 14, the 80's and 90's were spent playing and recording with metal, rock and funk bands throughout the LA area.

Following college, kids and a construction management career (and a haircut!), drumming was relegated to the occasional jam with friends and some stints in rock and blues bands. In 2015, through a work friend, I joined a classic rock cover band called The Pot Belly Stoves. Through various lineup changes, that band morphed into the most recent cover band I was in - Retrospect.

I enjoy virtually all types of music and have played several styles including thrash metal, speed metal, classic metal, hard rock, classic rock, funk, blues, r&b, pop, dance and some jazz and country.

I enjoy collaborating with musicians that take their craft, preparation and work ethic seriously but are doing music for the love of it, not for the business of it.
