Playing on and off for 20+ years

Curious about finding fun loving musicians to start a classic rock, hard rock /metal, or 80s/90s (cover band preferred) band trying to play gigs for fun and extra income? Interested in joining a band as well, would consider originals too depending on genre/sound.

Interested in rejoining the gig / live music world after almost 20 years' focus on school, family and career, jamming in my garage. Started playing drums at age 13. When I hear music (which is all the time), my ears eagerly and automatically magnify and process the drum tracks with precise detail.
