ABOUT

Revising my profile, now looking for musicians in these two formats:

1. Part-time performing, preferably in a NON-smoking environment. No overnight traveling. Prefer a duo or trio, performing popular songs &/or jazz tunes/standards. Would like to create a unique niche - for ex., doing familiar songs but in a different style or w/ different instrumentation.
2. Looking for collaborators for recording, incl. online file sharing. I use Logic Pro, Sibelius notation software & iReal Pro. I have originals in a jazz vein that need instrumental solos.

I am a classically trained vocalist, & have avMasters degree in Music. Able to read music/charts. Comfortable singing in variety of popular styles, but not a R&R screamer. Can harmonize easily. Confident acoustic rhythm guitarist, not a lead player. Can play keyboard. Experienced arranger & aspiring composer.

Influences

Most forms of popular American music, esp. blues, jazz & 60s/70s/80's R&R. In the past, have performed mostly standard singer-songwriter stuff (Neil Young, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Beatles, etc.), but am looking to expand beyond that repertoire.
