My name is Runar and I am a Viking Folk Metal musician with a history and background composing and writing extreme metal music (such as black or melodic death metal) infused with scandinavian, celtic, and modern folk music. I also have an industrial metal side project.

Influences
Numerous in number but my major folk metal influences were early Ensiferum and Finntroll.

Line 6 HD 147 and line 6 4x4 slant cab. A borrowed Marshall valvestate head and a non descript 4x4 roland straight cab.
Guitars include, Lag acoustic with woody pickup, BC rich warlock NJ series with FR and dimebucker in the bridge. Jackson JS30RR, Jay Turser 7 string, soon to be an ESP Alexi 200
Personal super computer, soon to have a UR 22, tannoy 502 reveal speakers, protools 11 and cubase 7 elements. SM57 Shure mic, AKG d8000m, and assorted radioshack mics. two sets open ear headphones, assorted adapters.
