I'm Rusty Smith. I have a You Tube channel called Record Mix Repeat. I am a songwriter, record producer, and video producer. I made a living for 35 years as a recording engineer at professional studios, both music and motion picture. That includes Universal Studios, Sony Pictures Studios, Dallas Sound Lab and Skywalker Sound South.

I am looking for a bass player at this time who is in his 60s, semi retired or retired who is interested in playing on both covers and original material. I currently have a drummer who is really good and is easy to work with.

We get together once or twice a month to record music for videos that are uploaded to my You Tube channel, Record Mix Repeat. Or we record music that I have written. If any new players write, then their tunes will be considered for recording.

There is no money in this. But the level of commitment is not heavy either. It is for fun and if you look at the videos on the You Tube channel, Record Mix Repeat, you'll see that the product is of professional caliber.
