SEEKING
Vocalist, Vocalist - Tenor, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar.ABOUT
I've been playing guitar for quite a while now. I got my first guitar as a freshman, and haven't put it down sense. I have a couple young kids, so I don't get all the time as I would like to play nowadays, so finding a band and a place to play is essential. I've been playing with some guys twice my age for a while now and I'm done (probably) with classic rock and ass metal, I mean that sh*tty music where the grown ass men wore makeup and hairspray.
I would love to play in a cover band that plays the stuff I loved in high school and would appeal to the 25-35 year olds.
I'm a guitarist at the core, but just picked up a bass and I can get by pretty well

Influences
Tool, incubus, deftones, nin, rage, radiohead, soul coughing, soad, Hendrix, white stripes, zeppelin.
I like to call my guitar tone 'gross' and don't use a lot of 'triple-rectified' distortion. I go thru phases of using lots of pedals or none.
EQUIPMENT
Gibson sg, a passable les Paul knockoff, and a strat that I pieced together. Crate half stack, crybaby, big muff, digitech delay modeler, etc
Late '80's fender bass with a cheapo 180w practice amp.
A mic, some cables and a monitor.
