SUMMARY ------------------------------------------------
She's an Artist is a Indie Rock band from the California Bay Area. The band was founded in '21 and released our first EP in Nov of that year. The songs on this EP range from pop-punk, to dance-pop, to lo-fi. She's an Artist is comprised of a main songwriter, a drummer, and keyboardist. As songwriter, I love all kinds of music and formed the band to write music that can provide a high-energy, fun, exciting live performance. I like the idea of not fitting into any genre - if it pops, we'll write it - if it'd make a great cover, we'll play it. You could say my ideal direction would be a pop-punk phoenix with hints of jrock, lo-fi/hip-hop, and motown if that makes any sense? But I'm also open to recording all types of music and seeing where it goes.

LOOKING FOR ------------------------------------------------
What we're looking for? A lead singer. I'm currently the main vocalist, but I'd prefer to focus on songwriting and doing backup vocals while playing guitar. Big plus if you can sing and play an instrument! I'm also looking to collab with other songwriters if you think we might be a good fit. We're currently playing lots of live shows, sometimes twice a week, so I'm looking to add more talent to our lineup to help us sound our best.

EXPERIENCE ------------------------------------------------
In terms of experience, two of our members were in touring bands, and I also have experience being signed to a label. We've collectively played hundreds of shows and are comfortable in a live setting, especially keeping it tight while incorporating stage presence. While on tour I learned about backing-tracks/in-ear-monitoring and I have applied that knowledge to this band as we utilize sophisticated backing-track rig to create a full/professional sound and IEM so we can hear ourselves clearly in any situation.

GOALS ------------------------------------------------
Our goal is to play regular gigs and have fun doing it. Besides well known venues, I'd also like to play music-in-the-parks, wineries, bars, and festivals. I want people to hear our sound and think - I need that band for our event, they're gonna get it poppin. So far, we've made great impressions, having played a couple small festivals and being offered to come back as well as trading shows with fellow bands. I'm open (and hoping) things continue to grow beyond this and lead to bigger opportunities, touring again perhaps, and whatever comes our way.
