Side 8 mixes a diverse blend of rock, funk, and soul to create a progressive rock sound that is uniquely crafted. Side 8 has intricate harmonies that can only be explained by the closeness of their members. The band is inspired by the differences that bring humanity together and refuse to ignore the differences which tear us all apart.
In December of 2006, Side 8 released their first live demo, and in 2007 released their EP entitled “Brainchild”. Since then Side 8 has played shows in many LA and Orange County venues such as Whisky, Viper Room, The Derby, BB Kings, Canters, Goodhurt, The Back Alley in OC, Dipiazza’s in Long Beach, and much much more.
After taking 1.5 years off to pursue other musical outlets the band is now reunited and playing shows regularly in Los Angeles and Northern California. Check out the tunes on this page!
