Independent artist based in London, UK, seeking authentic California female rock vocalist to record vocals for a hard rock demo for a new project, "Silver Scream". Looking for incredibly confident frontwomen who can soar and growl. (Amy Lee/Skin/Courtney Love/Lzzy Hale).
Silver Scream could best be described as the outcome if Amy Lee and Slash wrote the soundtrack to "Chinatown" or "L.A. Confidential". It's classic hard rock with showmanship at its heart, all played out against a timeless backdrop of Californian noir chic.
Whilst the musicianship of everyone involved in this project is authentic, it's very much a project to have fun with - I have every intention of each member adopting a persona (a la KISS or Slipknot) to help create this nostalgic place that the music can transport people to. Sense of humour is a MUST.
Ability to record vocals in a home studio or similar is ideal and a willingness to collaborate online across distance is key.
I am a singer and multi-instrumentalist with over two decades of performance experience, having toured across Europe and performed to live TV audiences of over 2 million. I also assist the Artistic Director at the most famous and well renowned live music venue in the world.
