Crazed high-gain violinist. Classically trained, roughly 18 years of practice. Some people call me a musical mad scientist; I'm pretty experimental and tend to use my gear in unintended ways, repair and maintain my own equipment, and design and build small circuits for myself if I can't find anything that does what I want. I play a 7-string electric violin, and that doesn't just mean loud, it means that not only can I sound more like a cello or viola, I also can sound very different from a "normal" violin, up to and including heavy and very aggressive distortion. I can even play metal rhythm riffs, depending on the riff. Please check out the attached videos/demos so that you know what I do/am capable of. I'm into mostly heavy stuff, from metal to heavy rock, with spacey bits, but I also have a lifelong passion for game soundtracks, from Celeste to DOOM (2015). Some people have told me my music is "post-almost-everything", I'm not sure I see it that way myself, but music is what you make of it, after all. I love doom, stoner, prog, sludge, and more, especially with mostly clean vocals. I also like some mathy hard-hitting stuff (Sokoninaru, Tricot.)
