SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
No ego and no drama. I’m currently looking for an established, or up-and-coming original project that I can contribute to. I’m an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, and have written, recorded, and produced numerous songs that have been featured on local radio stations (107.3, 93.3, 102.1), and local CD compilations (New Times Music Awards and Slo and Dysfunctional volumes). Instruments I play include Guitar, piano, B3, bass, mandolin, and banjo. I’m also a good vocalist and have a great feel for harmonies and backups. Genres of preference would be Americana\folk, but I’m also savvy, experienced, and comfortable playing modern rock, and various genres in between.
As with the usual craigslist formalities, my gear is top shelf, I'm ridiculously dedicated, and I don’t flake.. I’m not a tweaker, I’ve got a day job\career, I enjoy some brews while practicing\playing, etc. Copious amounts of gigs (60+) with numerous projects on the central coast. I’m 37, but age isn’t a huge consideration on my end. Apart from being a musician, I have a degree in audio engineering, and have been a freelance studio\live engineer for many years. I have a well stocked Pro Tools studio with Neve pre’s, Apogee\RME converters, and an assortment of high end mic’s. I also have a good PA system, utilizing a digital mixer and iPad control for the convenience of adjusting monitor mixes on stage, FOH, and all those boring technicalities. I also have significant graphic design experience (logos, album covers, posters etc.)
Ideally, I’m seeking a layed back, yet hungry and talented group of folks, with the same musical ambitions and dedication. Practice once a week is a must, if not a worst case scenario. I’m a workhorse, and typically dedicate 2 hours a night to individual practice\writing\composition. I’m also a very fast learner. Open to cover’s if they’re tasteful and significantly deviate from the original versions, but like I mentioned, prefer a predominately original project.
Please feel free to listen to some of the tracks I’ve recorded and performed. If you feel like I’d be a good fit, hit me up, and we’ll take it from there. Cheers!
