ABOUT

I'm a woman and an artist living in LB, and I am looking to form a new 1-2 member band. I’d like to connect with one or two people musically and do something that has not yet been done before, within the Alternative Universe. Most people would refer to this as a "Side Project" if you're already in a Band. However, I don't believe in labels.
I resent listing my influences- my sound sounds nothing like them. But I didn't just want to put up my music links, etc on this website, so if you request a sample of my music, I will send you a few. There is one song posted here also. I'm Looking for one or two people to jam with on nights or weekends. Then after our first or second session, we could deeply consider forming an actual group if our vibrational frequencies are aligned. No judgment, no egos, no directing others how to play; a fairly equivalent space where we can vibe together on the same frequency. No group leader because no one should feel on the “outs”. I’m not looking to join a group that is simply looking to fill an open spot so that the groups’ songs are
Learned and then book Gigs. That is not why I am here. I am looking to start a project.
I haven't played any live gigs yet, but I've been a stand-in bass player for a several bands and projects over the years. I started to play in 1995.
I have written my own material (but) would ONLY like to collaborate on new material. Emphasis on NEW material! If in the future I put together a band of key players to only play my songs (as a paid gig for them) then that is what will be. But for now, I’d like to create a project TOGETHER. I'm easy going, laid back, cool person with a great sense of humor. I am open to all musicians, regardless of experience. If you are in any of the Beach Cities/South Bay or LB, that would be awesome!
