ABOUT

I am a trained musician and composer with a Masters Degree in Music Education. I gigged in Hawaii singing with jazz, acoustic folk and top 40 bands. I sang solo at the Cinema Reef Hotel for three years until relocating to the Seattle area. I am a composer as well and have composed musicals, written for 20 piece orchestras and now writing rock and folk songs. I am a good arranger.

Influences

I am influenced by acoustic folk and rock artists of the 70's. My style is described as ethereal when singing Jazz and folk/pop. I like Chick Corea, Sergio Mendes, Carlos Jobim, Karen Carpenter, Renaissance, Enya, Aero Smith. There are too many to name. I have a smooth clear voice but I can also sing with an edge.
