THE 8TRACKS - Icons Of Rock Tribute
The 8tracks, Texas' preeminent rock band, is seeking a lead guitarist and vocalist with a vocal range from baritone to tenor. The ideal candidate will collaborate in a two-part lead guitar presentation, have the ability to sing lead (about 10-12 songs) and background harmonies, and possess a strong stage presence. The 8tracks ICONS OF ROCK show features transcendent rock songs, authentic instrumentals, stunning vocals, and an unmatched catalog designed to impress the most discriminating rock fan. The band has appeared throughout Texas and performed rink side for more than 85,000 fans as the Official House Band for the NHL's Bridgestone Winter Classic at the Cotton Bowl.
Commitment: attend weekly practices and perform two to four (Friday/Saturday) north Texas dates per month beginning in 2023.
Audition: Guitarist candidates must learn and perform four to five songs selected by the band. The guitarist picks a rock vocal audition piece.
Origin: Since 2004, The 8tracks band has honored not just one band but a whole generation of music.
