If you've ever felt like an alien dropped on earth, make contact! The Belledame is a siren from space who would love to collaborate with anyone who likes the idea of a dark, funky, slightly electronic genre-fusiony glam rock band!
I'm a classically trained vocalist who can accompany herself on keyboard. I'm only looking to sing, but depending on who I can find I'm open to providing keyboard backup. I can arrange and orchestrate. I had some musical theory training so I can communicate ideas well (the keyboard comes in handy for that, too).
The group would ideally be a collection of otherworldly beings who don't quite understand Earth and seek to transcend their corporeal forms through the majesty of muzak! Costumes, makeup, and a willingness to pursue shows outside of San Diego required.

DISCLAIMER: I have a strong vision for the presentation and trajectory of this project. I'm a commissioned visual artist who can design flyers and merch, and I have a decade of experience in event coordination and administration for performing arts groups/organizations. This isn't just for fun, though it will be very much that!

EQUIPMENT
My voice and a trusty practice keyboard; both got me through many a show with my old band.
Took piano lessons from ages 6-12 and after that just taught myself rock songs I liked. I was the keyboardist/vocalist for Oinga Boinga, the universe's only all-female Oingo Boingo cover band, for about 5 years. I also sang with an acapella jazz ensemble with Bobby McFerrin's pupil Molly Holm for 3 years. I've taken/taught vocal lessons, performed onstage since I was 5, and I'm currently trying to tackle songwriting (which I've only dabbled in before).
I also have a lot of rhinestones and glitter in case you need some.
