ABOUT

Originally from New York City, started taking guitar lessons at 17 from a prominent guitar instructor in 1993 by learning guitar theory, scales, legato techniques, arpeggios, etc. and by 18 joined a classic rock cover band. Joined a few other bands, one was an all original with 5 songs we recorded in the studio (in my channel). The first 5 songs we recorded in 1997. But I moved to California in 1998 and we all went our separate ways. After trying to strike up record deals in New York and New Jersey for 2 years while gigging all over the tristate area (New York, NJ, CT). we weren't able to land anything lucrative with the music industry at its peak. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, I decided to be a solo act and continue my music ambitions on the side while working full time as a computer programmer. I turned out to study learning the bass guitar, keyboards/piano/synth, etc. and started recording cover songs of various classic rock bands particularly of my favorite band ever, U2. I have been to over 100 U2 shows over the years, and set to go to the 2019 Joshua Tree tour in Australia this November. (Brisbane, Melnourne, 2 Sydney shows, and Perth).

I am looking to get back into a band and pick up where I left off. At this point I have over 25 years guitar experience off and on. There was a period between around 2001 and 2010 that I focused primarily on my work but lately I've been itching to get back to playing in a band again.

My core influences as a guitarist are Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Clapton, ZZ Top, Stones, Beatles, The Who, U2 and The Edge I am heavily influenced by.
I've done hard rock and metal like Metallica (one of my favorite bands ever), Ozzy, AC/DC, etc.
