Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Keyboard, Background Singer.

ABOUT

Excellent guitarist, lead and rhythm, electric and acoustic, playing most of my life, looking for a working band or soon 2b working band. Can read charts, learn music from recordings, sing lead and background, play bass and keyboards. Very good at improv and copying recordings note for note. Can play rock, blues, country (when I have to) and swing jazz (some fusion). I've performed with bands that opened for Mountain, Y&T and J Geils. In addition to performing with my own bands, I've played in orchestra pits, recorded many songs in studios, ran mixing board at live shows, and have directed talent shows as well as been a Stage Manager for 6 years at the international South By Southwest festival in Austin, TX. My early 90's rock band, Rosetta Stone, was voted #1 rock band in the Hudson Valley (NY) 2 years in a row. My last band, The Cagneys, was voted "Best New Band" of 2012 in Hudson Valley Magazine. I have a library of eclectic, original compositions. My performance mantra is "Articulation, Dynamics and Groove!" I love tight, vocal harmonies. I do my job to hold up my end of a band. I'm looking for like-minded players who are serious about creating a tight and professional sound. I show up ready to rock !!

Influences

Everything from Grateful Dead to Pat Metheny from Yes to AC/DC. I grew up playing 60's music and love playing everything from 60's to 80's rock n roll. I'm looking to join a band that cares that every note has its place and space is equally as important.
