ABOUT
Ship of Fools is a jam band on the trail of the Grateful Dead. We are quite creative, with a sound very much like the Dead, and each one of the 7 of us are master musicians, and our concert events are filled with scintillating leads, vibrant vocals and harmonies, and very infectious rhythms. We get people very happy and up and dancing. We are committed to making excellent music, and dedicated to recreating, as best we can, the atmosphere one would feel stepping into a Grateful Dead concert at, say, Winterland Arena in 1976 - that feeling of mingled excitement, expectation, delight, deep connectedness, and knowing that everyone around you is solid family, a feeling that still holds many of us together today.
