I played in some bands in my 20s, then played in church bands while raising my kids. I'd like to gig again. Want to join or start a band that plays similar music that I do (see Influences). I work a pretty serious hi-tech job so I can't devote all of my time to a band, but could gig a couple weekends a month or even once a week. I want to play with musicians who are serious about practice. When I giggled we would create tapes of the songs we would play, work out our parts on our own and then put them together with one or two practices a week (usually one, but maybe more up front). Would love a band with a second keyboard (e.g. for two parts like piano/organ or piano/synth) and a small horn section.
