I began playing the drums at the age 7
My professional career began at the age of 15 while in high school playing high school dances, church events and such.
By the age of 17, I was playing the bar circuit with Rock/Blues bands in and around St, Louis and Southern Illinois.
After High School I attended the University of Missouri/St. Louis as a music education major. I soon after changed to the Performance major curriculum.
While there I studied under Thomas Stubbs of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. During that time my main source of income was from playing drums and percussion with many varied types of acts. (Rock bands, Blues acts, R&B/Soul Reviews, Jazz combos, Classical ensembles, Broadway musical productions. etc.)
Following that I began to play with various Soul and Rhythm & Blues acts, touring around the Midwest through affiliations with several small production and recording companies.
I'm currently playing with various groups in the St. Louis Metro area.
Such as;
The Nonstop Classic Rock Band
Rocky and the Wranglers (Blues)
The Billy Berry Band (Country)
The Sean Holland Group (R&B - Funk - Contemporary Jazz)
Queenormous (Queen Tribute Band)
The Fifth Gear Band (Rock)
I also teach private lessons in my home recording studio.
