Biography
A deep embedded soul that was born and raised on the south side of Chicago was always surrounded by music that taught him to sing or play like his Grandmother & older brother on the piano. He was born to perform even his uncles and mother new he would be acting or something to do with because he would always be listening to music being played or written by his uncles from the North side. Little Tony is what they use to call him. Was like a sponge absorbing everything and always would love hearing his mother sing in Church! He was always trying to play something on the piano as she would be singing "(You Don't Have To Worry)"; Little Tony was always known for imitating his mother's singing, his uncles and the Jackson 5 singing and dancing like James Brown. One day sadness came to the Gullens house while their dad was off working at the Tavern 24, and meetings with his Marine buddy's. Tragedy struck the family with a fire at there house. They lost everything except for their lives and a car. (Thank God for our lives) So the whole family ended up having to leave Chicago without all of there friends and family. The only thing that kept Little Tony sane was having music to express himself. "The music inside of him could not be taken away from him. The TSwang we know today had emerged through tragedy long before the name was given to him by his group mate formerly of Nine (Roger Phillips) which simply stands for Unique & Strength. It was always his music bursting out of his soul. Yet it would seem from the two fires that all was lost. "But no, no... it was just the beginning of what was being created in this laid back singer and song writer. "So the family had to pack up what they had left and moved to a not so big city called South Bend IN. There Little Tony became Anthony and Anthony became Tony and Tony became TSwang. TSwang from the age of 7yrs old has always loved music and how it seemed to help & heal you when you were going through something or how it could make you dance and feel good with no pain. Music saved him from the streets and gave him life after the darkness of the two fires that him and his family were almost killed in. Tswang just wants to make you feel good by engulfing you into his world of r&b, hip hop, soul. The distinctive silky smooth swagger of recording artist/songwriter T-Swang. Continues to captivate audiences and move crowds of all ages. TSwang dances, sings, writes and plays the keyboard....T-Swang's eclectic style and enticing moves proves that he is the TRUTH, touching hearts and souls with his soulful soothing vocals.
