It’s hard to resist the undeniable soulful sounds of Uncle Charlie. With catchy lyrics, rhythmic beats, and infectious vocals, Uncle Charlie is redefining Soul Rock and taking the Los Angeles music scene by storm.

Uncle Charlie – made up of Andrew Kelsey (guitar, lead vocals) Greg Markles (drums, backing and some lead vocals) and Kahlil Sabbah (bass, backing vocals) – is a funky blend of Maroon 5 fused with the soulful beach groves of Jack Johnson. Their sound is intoxicating. Full of rich melodies and three part harmonies, their music fills you with a warm buzz that leaves you wanting more.

During their live shows, Uncle Charlie performs with a skill and subtle edge that reels the audience in and keeps them captivated the entire night. As a live band, they engage the audience with a whole range of sounds and flavors, from a mellow groove to a funky shuffle. It's good-time, feel-good music, in a variety of colors and textures...that's the signature of their fresh original style.

The band boasts an impressive roster full of songs with universal appeal. With fun, hip, memorable tunes like Sha La La , Snickers and Cigarettes, Dust me off, and many more, Uncle Charlie is quickly securing their place as a rising star in the industry.

In response to the trio’s growing popularity throughout Los Angeles, Uncle Charlie is in the midst of producing a self-tiled debut album, intended for release in the fall of 2009.
