I moved to the South Bend area in late 2006 and I need to play in another band. I'm Looking for other musicians who want to play together, get out of the basement, play out, and have some fun.
Lately I have been on an Acoustic Guitar kick and want to play such in the near future, but I'm definitely interested to play music that sounds good. I figured I'll take two music styles I love playing and combine them - Traditional Irish and Punk Rock.
Currently, I'm re-arranging old Irish Folk tunes into a more Celtic Punk style and I would like to get some other musicians together and Punk out the old Irish Tunes I grew up with. If your a fan of Flogging Molly then you'll know what I'm talking about.

Influences
My influences range quite a bit. Anything from Green Day, to Brian Setzer, to Blues and Bluegrass, Irish Folk, Big Band Swing, some Jazz, Punk, Ska, Rock-a-Billy and a whole bunch of others. I could name them all, but that would be too long of a list. I would say that I'm influenced mostly by artists that are willing to branch out from the mainstream a bit and get their feet wet in other areas of music.
EQUIPMENT
At this time I'm playing on a really nice Yahama Acoustic, and an Epiphone (Gibson style) Junior. In the past I had played a set of Pearl export drums with Paiste cymbals, and Gibraltar hardware.
