I'm Wook Wizard, a multi-instrumentalist and singer based in Austin TX. As a solo artist, I specialize in live looping - I layer acoustic guitar, beatbox, percussion, and vocal harmonies to create unique renditions of familiar covers and groovy original songs.
I am a professional cajon player, serving the drummer role on cajon in multiple Austin bands (Eddie Robbins Band, Sun Moon Rising, Loboz, and others). I maintain a confident and expressive groove throughout a 3 hour set, and enjoy bring my funk and hip-hop drumming influences to other genres. I also can sing lead and backup while playing cajon.
I have some touring experience both as a soloist and as a cajon player. Fortunately the cajon is light and portable, easy to travel with!
