Hi - I'm a yoga teacher in the LA area and am looking to put together a regular live cello restorative yoga class. This isn't exactly a band, but ideally I'd like to have at least one class (or more) per month like this, so it would be a regular gig. You'd be a soloist playing while students are relaxing into poses. Each pose is held for 3-8 minutes, so ideally you'd have relaxing music to play in intervals that last for about that amount of time. I'm completely open to what you'd like to play as long as it's relaxing!
I already have a class scheduled for this Saturday May 20th, 2017 at 1:30pm that I'd need a cellist for. Ideally you'd be able to make that date/time in West Hollywood, but I'm open to hearing from you if you're interested in future classes. Pay is $4 per student that attends for the 5/20/17 class, and I expect anywhere from 10-20 people to attend. I expect to be able to grow the student base as we have time to advertise our events.
