I am a guitarist and backup/lead singer wants to keep playing live. I've played w/ 2 different groups over the last 4 years, most at local venues in the twin cities and st. cloud. Typical draws were 50-100/nt, up to 900.
I am capable of moderate lead guitar work, but am probably best suited as an "above average, technically proficient rythym guitar player" and backup or lead singer.
I have all pro gear, some PA equipment, and know my way around the stage and studio. (Aka - on the stage ready to play in 5 mins or less). I'm not going to post this as a "serious inquries only
\" ad...but like I said, I miss playing live, so unless you fit into one of the following categories, I'm probably not your guy:
1.) Already have a gigging band
2.) Have a band that is READY to begin gigging
3.) Need a guitar player here and there to sit in
I can blend to a fair amount of styles, rock and pop being the easiest for me. Covers, originals, whatever...I like both. If interested, I do have recorded and live examples of my playing, and I'm more than willing to show up for an audition.
In addition to my playing ability, I'm well-versed in the art of promotion, networking, and digtal/print advertising. I've done a lot of booking shows and have good repore with a lot of the venues around town.
As a last side note, I also have a handful of musicians that are interested in similar ventures as myself, especially to sit in. Yes, I probably have enough to start my own band...but I don't have the time or energy to be the band leader.

Bogner Shiva, '74 Fender Super Reverb, '76 Les Paul, Custom Shop Fender NoCaster, MusicMan Silhouette Special, Taylor Acoustic, 70's Yamaha 12, analog pedal and rack fx to make other different and pretty sounds.

Some clips of projects and recordings I've been involved with, as well as a few clips of me solo. Most of this material was written by me or was something I contributed to. Most of the vocals are mine as well. This represents a few of the more "artistic" ventures I've worked on, but I also enjoy the classic and more mainstream stuff just as well.
