Recent transplant full time from Texas. Been playing the Blues scene in Texas for years, but have connected with a Bass player here and we've stretched out to some of the good old days!! Mixing things up a bit but haven't been able to find a solid pocket drummer with energy.

Influences

All the great Blues men, and guitar greats! Growing up in Texas I cut my teeth on Johnny Winter, ZZ Top and had the pleasure of meeting a lot of Blues men. Southern rock and classic rock also were major influences. Main influences were, Hendrix, Winter, Trower, Muddy Waters, SRV, Albert King, too many to list. If it has soul and grooves, I'm in!

EQUIPMENT

Fender strats, Gibson Firebird (slide work), Gibson Flying V. Play mostly through vintage 70's Musicman tube amps, occasionally a Marshall. Use vintage pedals if used (i.e. Univibe, Boss CE-2 chorus, Tube Screaner, Vox wah, etc.).
