I'm looking for musicians who want to play original bedroom folk pop. At least that's the starting point. Instrumentation can be sparse (Iron & Wine, Elliot Smith, Damien Rice) or more rock-driven (The Decemberists, Counting Crows, Theo Katzman). My primary instrument is bass, but I play some guitar and could do background vocals. I'm thinking of having an acoustic guitar, electric guitar, drums/percussion, bass, and keys, so if you play any of those and are interested, hit me up.
I'm turning 40 this year, so players in the same age range would be preferred. The goal right now would be to do some simple recording and local gigs. I have a handful of original songs written but am open to writing with others. Also, I have a rehearsal space in Torrance.
