ABOUT
Looking to form acoustic folk / jazz duo or trio. I'm a chord-style rhythm guitar player who can do some vocals. Looking specifically to find a strong lead player (guitar, violin, vocals, keyboard, accordion?) to collaborate and create an ensemble of two or three players. Looking for people who can bring fun and creativity to performing covers and instrumentals. I don't write, but would be happy to contribute to someone else's originals. It's all about the arrangements. . .I want to primarily play for the fun of it and for the other members of the group while putting together an eclectic set list that swings. Doing quality sets, and the ability to laugh are both important to me! It would be ideal to do public gigs a couple of times a month.
The attached audio files are old (and poorly recorded) from a live gig as an acoustic guitar duo. They give a feel for the type of arrangements /styles that I'm trying to put together. Listen with a grain of salt!
