I have not had a great deal of musical gig experience, but I have performed in other ways and I have no stage fright issues (Maybe a little performance anxiety). I have attempted the corporate job scene to appease all the "realistic" minded folks in my life. At the end of the day it has left me here, accepting my forever-desired direction. I have never felt more right in my choice. I just need to find people that feel the same way about their music.
