I play drums and percussion from central Europe/Mid East, general continent of Africa, Caribbean and Latin America. My usual setup for the last few years has been cajon with or without conga(s) and a tambourine for foot. I've been playing for traditional dance from Mali, Guinea, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Congo, and South Africa since 2004. I was drumming for the religious practices of Lucumi and Palo from 2006-2011, conga, bell, and shekere along with song. My personal style combines elements from all of these, as well as the music of the United States and other.
