I was born into a Gospel Bluegrass Family Band where I played bass then worked on fiddle. My dad envisioned my two sisters and I to be the Andrews Sisters of bluegrass - so learning to harmonize was taken care of early on. I insisted on piano lessons when I was 5 after hearing Fur Elise and kept them up for 10 years. I played saxophone in high school band.
I started singing and playing guitar in jam sessions at coffee houses in college and formed a partnership from that. We played regularly on the weekends at a popular little Bistro in Jonesborough and also special gigs through out the week.
