I have been playing the Tenor Saxophone since the 7th Grade and have been a part of my high school's symphonic band program for four years. My experience has always been playing classical music until I became interested and passionate about learning to improvise jazz. it was then since 2018 I joined my high school's jazz band. Now that I am a rising Sophomore at UNC-Charlotte, I still want to keep playing jazz.

Influences
My greatest influences have got to be the music from the 1940s written and played by the greatest musicians of all time, musicians such as Buddy Bolden, Charlie Parker, Count Basie, Illinois Jacquet, Lionel Hampton, Benny Goodman, and many more. I've learned that Music is the only thing that makes me motivated to run, play Soccer, do my homework, and most of all enjoy life.
