ABOUT

Amanda Avalon (aka Mandy Jewell) is an alternative country singer-songwriter from Dayton, Ohio. Amanda originally began her musical journey playing bass in a band called Burning Veda in the early 2000s. Realizing that wasn't for her she went on to work with her then husband, Chris Gormer on a project called the Virgin Trend. Their song "Excuse Me" landed on the Dayton After Dark compilation. Since then, Amanda has been working on her solo career as well as playing local shows in the Dayton area. She is currently working on her first album and is booking shows to promote her new album as well as her new sound and attitude
