I've been playing for over a year now. But only alone with be bass tabs. Have got to jam with friends just a couple times.
I play any genre.
I went to Windsor high in imperial, mo. There I was a member of the marching band for 3 years, playing the trumpet., and 2 years jazz band playing valve trombone.
I decided to learn the bass a long time ago, but never had one until Sept 2020. My brother gave me a an amazing b.c. rich warlock 4 string for my birthday. I haven't named him yet. Lol

Influences
All genre. However, not into death metal at all. Or any type of song where all the bass is...is 16th notes the whole time. First, it above my skill level. Second, even if I can play all those 16th notes, I do not enjoy it.
I like any thing that has a good beat, and love anything with a good message.
