ABOUT

My name is Andy Buch. I'm new in town and am looking for work as a bassist.

I've performed and recorded with artists ranging from Mumford And Sons to members of Phish and Umphrey's McGee. My own material has been featured in the games Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

I'm a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, where I majored in Bass Performance and Film Scoring. I'm a versatile player, able to play any genre you throw at me. Some of my favorites include:

I do a lot of music editing / production as well, and am versed in Pro Tools, Logic, Digital Peformer, Reaper, Reason, Kontakt, etc.

I'm also very connected throughout the music business, so I can be of help in that regard as well.

I live about 30 minutes out of NYC on Long Island, and am mostly looking for work in and around New York City and Long Island (Queens / Nassau) - although I'm up for expanding that reach as well.

I'm mostly looking for work as a session musician - be it live gigs, studio work, weddings, etc. I'm also interested in starting up my own project, or possibly joining onto other projects if it's a good fit :)
