Hi, I'm Andy Steve. I am a multi-instrumentalist/vocalist/producer. Looking to put together a band to start doing gigs soon. I recently released my first self-produced album entitled, "Pure Funkry". I am a mostly self-taught musician. I took drums lessons in my teens for about 6yrs, everything else I taught myself to play. Started playing drums when I was about 14. I played drums at the church I was forced to attend for about 4-5 yrs and progressed into percussion around 16 when I started playing local gigs on the weekends. I got into bass guitar and electric guitar in my early 20's and started producing songs on a loop station when I was about 23. Some of the songs on "Pure Funkry" were created 8yrs ago and just finished recently after I taught myself to record/mix/master tracks. I am 100% independent, to a fault because I am an improvisational musician and it is just impossible to be in two places at once. Too many to name and I would leave someone out so I will just say this, ANYTHING THAT IS FUNKY. Anything...Funk, Blues, Jam bands, and anything with a deep groove. If you love Vulfpeck and Jeff Beck, I love you!
