ABOUT

Anthony Grant has a very distinct, powerful and soulful voice that has become his signature sound that audiences around Boston and the east coast love. With his larger than life stage presence, he can command any size stage or venue.

Anthony has had an illustrious career for being so young. By the age of 18, he had been very fortunate to have already performed at incredible venues such as: Carnegie Hall Ny,NY; Disney World, FL; Times Square-Ny,NY; The Kennedy Center-Washington D.C.; The Teatro di Verona-Verona Italy; The City of Pompei-Italy, and The Vatican-Rome Italy.
Anthony started professionally singing while studying opera at Barry University, in Miami FL. It was there that he studied under Beverly Coulter. He also performed with the Miami Lyric Opera company at the tender age of 18! After spending time in the sun soaked shores of Miami, he then found himself in Winchester VA.
It was at the Shenandoah Conservatory, where he studied under world renowned tenor, Michael Forest, and Grammy award winning composer and director, Robert Shafer (a student of Nadia Boulanger). While at Shenandoah, he developed a strong knowledge of classical music and form, and really began to discover his "voice" in his compositions. As well as develop an insatiable thirst for the verismo movement in opera.
He soon left Shenandoah to start pursuing performance opportunities, and wound up auditioning for the Berklee College of Music. Where studied voice and jazz composition.
