SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Hey there!
Seeking a new project opportunity with (preferably!) an already established, original band- preferably funk/blues/rock inspired! No cover bands, or acoustic duos, or offers for a vocal track on electronic music you produce, por favor! I love live instruments, and getting down with talented, creative artists.
I'd also be down with finding likeminded musicians in my area who would be dedicated to getting a band off the ground, and can rehearse at least once, but hopefully twice per week to get it goin'.
I'm a seasoned contralto (ie; i sing tenor, alto and some soprano) ranged vocalist that has fronted multiple bands. I also play a lot of acoustic/electric uke (with a wah pedal, even ;) )
I have a ton of material I could bring to the table, and I'm 100% down to collaborate to write more! The stuff I have on my is mainly from a "30 songs in 30 days" challenge I gave myself recently. So almost every song you hear was put together from start to finish in 45 minutes (all improv, and then built off of the initial improved track), and I'm playing it all on my own. Not super polished, and I have almost no actual recording skills so it's really basic, but it'll give you an idea of what I have kicking around in my brain at any given time.
I live in Arvada and am looking to jam anywhere between here and downtown Denver - essentially within a 25 minute radius- to make multiple rehearsals per week. I'm chompin' at the bit to get going!
Weekends are great for me for rehearsing, and I can commit a weeknight as well.
Looking for some super funky, awesome sounds that I can get real soulful on. I'm only 5ft tall, but I pack a punch ;)
